Was a Tour Guide at this Museum in 2006 and worked there from September 06 to April 2007 and I totally enjoyed learning about the history of imprisonment from the convict times to the present day correctional system. A very good place.
A must visit for anyone. It just may put you off doing any wrong deed that your thinking of.
Visited yesterday, very interesting and a lot to see. Was great to chat to the inmates and officers who run it. Was great to see some of the good things the inmates have made in the shop, very talented.
A great look into the history of corrective services in NSW. Kelvin, our tour guide was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable (although the jokes grate a bit, he was trying). Absolutely worth a look. The inmates' handiwork is excellent and it's fabulous to see low risk inmates being rehabilitated.
