We have a social gathering each year in Cooma and a few times we have had to stay in the shearer's huts. They are well appointed, clean and affordable.
Older style of park thats been around for long time. Could do with a few upgrades but has its own charm and is kept neat and clean. Handy to town. Reasonably priced. Appears to be popular and quite busy with caravans and campers. MM
Would have been wonderful to have had a hot shower this morning. But there was no hot water. Extremely basic facilities. Needs upgrading.
Nice place. Would of liked to stay longer. Great for more than one reason. I remember passing this place many years ago and knew just where to find it on arrival. After all the years to see places like this doing business helps me feel proud of Australia.
When water wouldn't stop gushing into the kitchen sink in the evening, friendly staff helped by shutting water off completely for the remainder of the stay. Turning on 3 appliances tripped the circuit breaker. 2 sliding doors came off their runners. Temporarily trapped in amenities block WC cubicle. Notwithstanding the above minor issues, a pleasant stay had by my husband and me. Local Indian food excellent.
